Today host Dylan Dreyer pregnant with her first baby as she opens up about facing emotional upheavel

NBC's Today host Dylan Dreyer is pregnant with her first baby. People came to know about Dreyer’s pregnancy when she announced it on her show during the segment Friday Fishbowl just three days after co-host Savannah Guthrie, in the same manner, announced she’s also pregnant with her second child during the Tuesday Fishbowl.

The 34 years' old Dreyer with her husband Brian Fichera, NBC Nightly News cameraman, was expecting their first child to be a boy dated in December 2016.

With the happiness of being pregnant for the first time, Dreyer wrote a blog post expressing about the emotional upheaval before she knew she is pregnant. According to her post, she revealed,

We weren’t in a rush to have kids and, to be honest, there was a time when we declared we never wanted kids!

Yeah! It is the desire of every couple to have a baby sooner or later depending upon the understanding between the pair. And that’s what happened in the life of Dreyer, it was the time to have a baby. She also wrote,

Then one day we both looked at each other and said ‘I want a baby!’ As usual, we were on the same page and it all just seemed right.

Well, there she is- she had a baby boy. It has been over 4 years since Dylan married Brian and maybe it was the right time (2016) for the couple to have a child. Dreyer was unsure about her pregnancy and had to rely on pregnancy test report from the doctor.

After she got the positive report, she began to tell people around her about it. And now she has officially announced it throughout the globe. Here is her Twitter post announcing her first pregnancy.

The couple was so much excited about their first child.

According to the doctor's sayings, the pair had their baby boy in December 2016. The pair named the baby boy, Calvin Bradley Fichera. The boy was born on December 18, 2016, at 11:52 am. He was 8.3 pounds when he was born. 

And they seem to be happy with each other. Their relationship is going so well that they have never thought about the divorce. Look how happy they look with each other and their child. 

Today's meteorologist Dylan is estimated to have a net worth of $1 million and it is expected to more than double in a few years.
