Born as in Antoine Rizkallah Kanaan Filho in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil to Antoine Rizkallah Kanaan and Miriam Kanaan, Tony was born in upper middle class family but after the death of his father his family business money was stolen by his uncle and he has to live a humble life after that. He is Brazilian and is of Lebanese descent.

1994

Competed in the Formula Europa Boxer

After the death of his father, Tony moved to Italy. But due to the lack of funds, he simply took part in race track and he also won several of them. He became the winner of the 1994 Italian Formula Alfa-Boxer Championship. In 1994, he joined Formula Europa Boxer.

1995

Competed in the Italian Formula Three

After being the champion of Formula Europa Boxer in 1994, he took part in Italian Formula Three the following year. He was fifth placed in this competition and he earned 111 points throughout the competitions.

Competed in the Champ Car Championship Series
