HGTV Canada launched its most ambitious project yet- Home to Win. The show is said to be the biggest, most interactive, multiplatform series yet by the network.
For the first time in the network’s history, 20 HGTV Canada stars, including Bryan Baeumler, come together under one roof to buy an average home and renovate it from top to bottom for one lucky Canadian. Mike Holmes, Scott McGillivray and Sarah Richardson are other famed TV personality set to come together for this 10-part series.
“Never before has HGTV Canada assembled 20 stars under one roof to design and build the ultimate home for one lucky Canadian,” said Christine Shipton, Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer, Shaw Media. “The pooled talent and unmatched skill makes for the creation of an incredible house and marks the biggest undertaking in the network’s history.”
DIY expert, former star of Tackle My Reno, and former CFL player, Sebastian Clovis says that this entire experience is something new and special. “This show is a celebration of everything HGTV has done in the renovation world,” says Clovis. He went on to say that this show is a way for celebrities to show their appreciation to a loyal fan base.
This show is hosted by ET Canada‘s Sangita Patel. The series follows HGTV Canada stars as they hunt for the ideal property to buy and renovate for one lucky Canadian. The keys of the completed house will be given to one of the three Canadians who come out victorious in heart-pounding challenges.
