Twilight Actor Robert Pattinson Might be the new Batman in the DC Universe

According to recent rumors Twilight star, Robert Pattinson is currently in negotiation with DC Universe studios to star in the upcoming Matt Reeves's edition of the superhero movie The Batman.

The forthcoming superhero film from the DC Universe is likely to hit the theatres on 25th June 2021. 

Although the deal hasn't been finalized yet, the director's top priority is heard to be Robert Pattinson.

Warner Bros. made no comments on the recent developments.

If Robert Pattinson was to land the role he would become the second-youngest actor after Christian Bale to portray the superhero, Batman.

The movie is set to start its pre-production from this summer.

The previous Batman, Ben Affleck decided to leave the character of the masked cape crusader's role following the Justice League's release.

Warner Bros. assigned Matt Reeves in January 2017 for directing and choosing his own Batman for the upcoming DC movie.

Matt Reeves has previous experience of directing films like Planet of the Apes and its sequels.

The movie will be produced by Matt Reeves along with his co-producer Dylan Clark.
