Crewson attended John Rennie High School in Pointe Clarie, Québec, further she attended Queen’s University in Kingston, where she won the Lorne Greene Award for outstanding work in the theater. Later she studied at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Crewson appeared in her debut role in a feature film “The Doctor” and later appeared in a number of movies like, “The Good Son”, “The Santa Clause”, “Escape Clause” etc. Wendy co-starred in the science fiction film “Bicentennial Man” with Robin Williams and “The 6th Day” opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Wendy starred in the television series called The ReGenesis as Dr. Rachel Woods and again in a hit Canadian series Saving Hope as Dr. Dana Kinny. She also made a guest appearance in the first episode of the hit series 24 in its third season as Dr. Anne Packard. Wendy also appeared in the second season of ABC’s primetime soap opera 'Revenge'.
Heading towards her personal life, Crewson was once married to actor Michael Murphy. As a married couple, they invited two lovely children in their lives, Johan Branton Murphy and Maggie Murphy. But eventually, the couple separated with a divorce. According to the reports, She had accepted being lesbian to her family before accepting it in public, which may have been the main reason for the divorce with Murphy.
