Warner Bros. will be facing a major setback in the release of the sequel of their Suicide Squad after one of their major stars decided to drop out from the franchise.

As per sources of Variety, actor Will Smith who portrayed Floyd Lawton or Deadshot in the superhero movie won’t be returning to the studios for the filming of its upcoming sequel.

Sources have further mentioned that the actor would be exiting the production house in a cordial manner with no hard feelings between both parties.

Warner Bros is now faced with a grave problem as they never wanted their major casts like Will Smith and Margot Robbie, who played the infamous Harley Quinn, and Jared Leto, The Joker, to depart, while they figured out actors for the other half of the cast.

As for now both Will Smith and Warner Bros are unavailable for further confirmation and comments.

Currently, the studio is in full throttle for their sequel, as the former one was a major box office hit, bringing in $746.8 million against the $175 million budget.

The studio had just hired James Gunn, writer cum director in 2018 to start the production to meet the release set date which is set for 6th August 2021.

We hope that the actor changes his decision.
