Woman Injured in Prince Philip Car Crash to Undergo Wrist Surgery

The story hasn't ended! The woman, namely Emma Fairweather, who was injured in a car accident after Prince Philip’s SUV car hit her Kia in January in Sandringham, England, is to undergo wrist surgery.

According to the Daily Mail report published on Sunday, February 3, that 46-year-old need to have a titanium plate inserted in her wrist.

Emma told the outlet,

This has completely knocked me. It feels the last three weeks of pain and recovery have been pointless as I now have to start all over again. It’s like Groundhog Day.

The woman also told the publication that she wants Philip, 97, "to know the full effect this is having on my life".

She added, "I’ve never had surgery before and I’ll have this titanium plate for life".

Emma involved in the car crash with two other people, including a baby of 9-month-old who was not injured. Duke of Edinburgh's car had also flipped over but he didn't suffer major injuries.

Just two days after the tragic incident, Philip was spotted driving his Land Rover without wearing a seatbelt.

As previously reported, Philip apologized to the woman in a note he released to the Sunday Mirror on January 26.
