Jeffrey Leonard Jarret, professionally known as Jeff Jarrett, is an American professional wrestler, promoter, and businessman. Also known as Double J, Jeff has worked with numerous wrestling platforms like WWE, WCW, and TNA and is also the founder of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He founded the platform back in 2002 alongside his father. 

The four-time WCW Heavyweight Champion is currently 50 years old and had an estimated net worth of $15 million in 2015 which is quite comparable to some of the other wrestlers like Kurt Angle, Goldberg and CM Punk

As of 2018, WWE announced that the wrestler is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Here we are going to share some information about his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame and his career and awards.

As reported by NBC recently, in February 2018, Jeff will not be joining the ranks of WWE wrestlers like Ivory, Dudley Boyz, and others. 

On Twitter, WWE announced that Jeff will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of 2018's Class. The induction is going to take place on 6th April 2018 during the 34th week of WrestleMania. 

Later on, Triple H also announced the induction via his Twitter and welcomed the wrestler in the Hall of Fame and also praised his work in the wrestling industry despite all the ups and downs. 

Numerous wrestlers also spent no time to congratulate Jeff on Twitter and other social media.

Basically, Twitter blew up after the announcement, and it became one of the famous topics. Fans from all over the world as well as fellow wrestlers had a lot to share about the news and seemed very happy about it. 

Jeff Jarrett career and awards

Jeff made his debut as a professional wrestler back in 1986 after his father purchased World Class Championship Wrestling. During his days with WCCW, he won USWA Southern Heavyweight Championship 10 times and USWA  World Tag Team Championship 15 times. 

Just a year later, he joined the World Wrestling Federation. In the following year, he became the Intercontinental Champion in 1995 and held the title until 1996. In the same year, he also quit WWF and was hired by World Championship Wrestling.

He signed a year contract with them and right after his contract expired, he decided to go back to WWF. 

The wrestler went to and fro with different wrestling platforms throughout his career only working with each of them for 2 -3 years. He has worked with TNA, AAA, Global Force Wrestling and many others. As of now, he is on Impact Wrestling. He rejoined the platform back on 5 January 2017. 

As a wrestler, Jeff gained a lot of fame and, like any other wrestler, he has appeared in numerous films like Life of Mikey, Spring Breakers, Rove Live, etc., with Michael J. Fox, Cyndi Lauper, Selena GómezVanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson

Moving on to his accomplishments, the wrestler was named the Rookie of the Year in 1986. He has won titles like AAA Mega Championship, AAA Rey de Reyes, CEA Heavyweight Championship, WWF Tag Team Champion and WWF Intercontinental Championship

Moreover, in 2015, he was also inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. As of 2018, he is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. This makes him the third wrestler after Sting and Kurt Angle to be inducted in both of them.
