David Chang and Grace Seo Chang Are Expecting a Child: Chrissy Teigen Announced Pregnancy

During an interview at WSJ. Magazine’s Innovator Awards in November 2018, Chrissy Teigen told reporters that foodie honoree David Chang and his wife were expecting their first child.

Noting Grace's pregnancy, the model said at the event at MoMA, which was attended by Jonah Hill, Mary-Kate, Channing Tatum, Ashley Olsen, and Karlie Kloss, that the couple was set to welcome their "own lucky peach." David's former magazine's title was Lucky Peach.

The amazing couple also attended the WSJ Magazine 2018 Innovator Awards event together in November 2018.

David later confirmed the exciting news to the media, saying, "Thank you, and yes, we’re expecting our first child… lucky peach indeed."

David has been honored with a Food Innovator award. The Momofuku guru has a restaurant named Majordomo in Los Angeles and the Bāng Bar in Manhattan’s Time Warner Center.

Dave Chang Early Life

Dave Chang was born on August 5, 1977, in Vienna, Virginia to Korean parents. His parents, Joe Chang, and Sherri Chang, emigrated to the USA as adults in the 1960s. Chang has three siblings; two elder brothers and a sister.

Growing up, Chang picked up golf and has also participated in a number of junior tournaments. He has attended Georgetown Prep and completed his graduation from Trinity College in Washington. Following his graduation, he started his career as a teacher and a finance assistant in New York City and eventually started his cooking career.
