Joseph Patrick Kenda, a.k.a. Joe Kenda, is a retired detective. He previously served at the Colorado Springs Police Department. He is best known for his 92% closure rate in 387 homicide cases he was involved in throughout his 23 years long career. He was even featured on the show Homicide Hunter where he shared the stories of the cases he solved. 

Born on 14th November 1946, he is currently 76 years old, and he is now married to his wife Mary Kathleen Mohler Kenda. Married for almost half a century, the duo also has two children together.

Taking a closer look at their very long yet adorable relationship, it goes way beyond their marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Kenda met during their high-school days and started dating while they were still teenagers.

They dated for a few years until Joe decided to get married to his high-school sweetheart on 26th December 1967, at the age of 21.

Joe and Mary Kenda have two children from their 51 years long marriage and both of them have followed in their father's footsteps in their careers. 

Their first child is a son; his name is Daniel J. Kenda. Their son, whose date of birth and age are unknown, is a US Navy Commander Intelligence Officer, currently serving in Virginia.

Likewise, his youngest child is a daughter, but unlike her brother, even her name is unknown. But according to sources, she also serves the US Government like her father and brother.
