Five feet and five inch tall, Yung was born as Christian Ward in Chicago, Illinois, United States of American to African and American parents. He is an American and is black. He is well known in the musical world by his nicknames Iceberg, Hitmaka, Yung Bizzy and Y.B.

2001

Signed a contract with DMX's Bloodline Records

Yung has been active in the musical world since 2001. That year, he signed a recording contract with DMX’s Bloodline Records and made his debut in Exit Wounds soundtrack on the song Dog 4 Life. But rather than continuing his career in music, his parents forced him to join continue his education.

2003

Graduated from military boarding school

After his parents forced him to continue his education, he joined military boarding school. He finally completed his high school graduated from there in 2003. After that he moved to Los Angeles and resumed his musical career.
