Actor Colton Haynes Confirms Himself Gay, Opens Up Being Cheated By Ex-Boyfriends

The 28 years old, Colton Lee Haynes is an American actor and model who is best known for his role in an American action crime TV series Arrow as Roy Harper with the co-star Stephen Amell. It's surprising to know that the handsome-looking actor is gay and is involved in a few gay relationships.

Colton is gay but has experimented with both sexes

Colton did not reveal that he was more attracted to boys than a girl in his childhood. So, in his youth, he dated a few of his girlfriends but never was truly attracted to them. That was the reason his relationship with girls never lasted long. 

Colton had actually told his friends and family that he’s gay when he was 14, but he liked boys since first grade. He was misbehaved in his school and his elder brother used to protect him from all these. Afterward, he moved to Texas and attended the high school there, he had a much better experience with being openly gay. 

Even though he has experimented with both sexes, he said it's boys with whom he is more comfortable and didn’t really think about getting settled with a female.

Colton dated a few boys in his high school and one of his ex-boyfriends is the model with whom he did his now-infamous 2006 photoshoot for XY magazine.

Colton: Opens Up Being Cheated By Ex-Boyfriend

On May 5, 2016, for the first time, Colton openly revealed that he was gay and was attracted to boys and also dated few of them in Entertainment Weekly. In the exclusive interview with EW, Colton shared the bitter secret of his breakup with a guy with whom he's been together for six years.

Colton also noted that things ended when he discovered his ex-boyfriend was constantly cheating. Though he did not reveal his boyfriend's name, he said,

I had a complete mental breakdown.

Colton said that his ideal man would be a combo of three of his celebrity crushes: John Cena, Idris Elba, and Ryan Reynolds.

Colton is dating Jeff Leatham

Colton is currently in a gay relationship with his boyfriend Florist-to-the-star's Jeff Leathem. There were few rumors floating all over the media about their secret relationship, but Colton confirmed his relationship after he uploaded a picture with Jeff on Feb 19, 2017.

In the selfie, Colton is shirtless in bed in the arms of Jeff. He has captioned'

“It’s not every day that someone comes into your life & makes you want to be a better man. I feel so blessed to be by your side @jeffleatham #WhatMoviesAreMadeOf,”

Recently, in Feb 2017, Jeff posted a picture with Colton, Jeff was kissing Colton on his forehead. 

The couple is enjoying their company and looks like they are made for each other.
