Alexander Wang attended Harker School before joining Stevenson School as a 9th-grade student. He completed his elementary education at Stevenson School and joined the Drew School for his further education.
Afterward, he moved to Parsons School of Design where he met a famous fashion designer, Marc Jacobs, and Derek Lam and started working for them. However, Wang abandoned his studies to create a unisex collection of cashmere sweaters.
Alexander Wang first presented his designs at his brother's wedding when he was just 15 years old. Giving continuity to his passion, he later launched his full women's collection which sold over 700 stores worldwide.
