Bret Baier started his Television career from a local station in Rockford, Illinois. He was employed as the network's Atlanta bureau chief by Fox News in 1998. After the attack in Pentagon on September 11, 2001, he moved to Arlington, Virginia. He then started working as the network's Pentagon correspondent and worked for five long years. He visited Afghanistan 11 times and Iraq 13 times during his job there. His news covering on the administration of George W. Bush made him Fox News's White House correspondent in 2007. He replaced Brit Hume as an anchor of Special Report and began his first permanent Anchor duty on January 5, 2009.
Bret Baier is a married man and is living a happily with his wife and two sons. His wife name is Amy. One of his sons was born with cardiac problems and had Open Heart Surgery. George Bush called him, his wife and their son in 2008 in White House and had an Update in their son's health progress.
