Chaz Bono opens up about his weight loss and relationships in Oprah: Where Are They Now?

Chaz Salvatore Bono is a transgender man. He was born in Los Angeles, California, the child of the pop duo Sony & Cher. Bono came out to both parent as Lesbian at age 18. Talking about his childhood, he once wrote "as a child, I always felt there was something different about me. I’d look at other girls my age  and feel perplexed by their obvious interest  in the latest fashion, which boy in class was the cutest."

He has studied law at the New York University. He is an activist, actor, singer and musician. He advocates about transgender in the international arena.

He has played in movies like Dirty, The Bold, and the Beautiful, The Secret Life of the American Teenager (TV Series), Degrassi: The Next Generation, Fronterz, Ellen, Bad Girls and The Sonny and Cher Show.

Chaz went through a rough childhood as he had to constantly deal with the fact of being different than others. Well, it was not until the age of 13 that he realized that he was gay. Later, at the age of 18, Bono finally came out his parents as a lesbian.

His realization eventually had him decide to act upon his sexuality and thus in 2008 and 2010, he underwent female to male gender transition. A two-part Entertainment Tonight feature in June 2009 explained that his transition had started a year before. 

A documentary on Bono's experience becoming Chaz was screened at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and later made its television debut on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Likewise, following his transition, he also competed on the 13th season of the US version of Dancing with the Stars. On the show, he was paired with Lacey Schwimmer, a professional ballroom dancer.

Is Chaz Salvatore Married? Past Affairs And Girlfriend

Chaz also has been through a rough phase in his love life. He was in a relationship with his girlfriend and was also about to get married. However, the future had something else for him. 

As per the reports, back in 1999, he was in a relationship with his girlfriend Jennifer Elia, a private tutor. Their relationship seemed pretty strong until Jennifer ditched him just a little before their marriage.

In fact, the duo was already engaged back then. In an article published in Daily Mail.Co.Uk on 13th May 2011, they even talked about getting married. 

We've been engaged for two years and had to put things on hold for a little bit; I would say in a year, definitely. Now I feel like this is over we can plan a wedding."

However, just seven months after their engagement, their relationship turned sour and on 22nd December 2011.

Well, to conclude, he is not married yet. Also, there are no reports of him being in an affair recently or having a girlfriend.

He is not that tall man. He is of small height. His weight is only about 80 kilogram. He has tattoos including a holy cross on his right arm and a flower around his elbow. He has gone under the knife to reduce his body fat to look slim and trim. He is happy with his current body image and feels more confident now.

Recently on 6th February 2016, in an article published in people.com, Chaz was candid about his unhealthy body and all the troubles he had to go through.
