Christine was once married to Howard Sokolowski. As a married couple, they also became parents several times. She also gave birth to twin sons. However, this married life was ended in a divorce.
Christine began her broadcasting career from CKVR-TV. She then worked at CBC News in Toronto as a summer reporter. She then began working at CFTO-TV as a general assignment reporter. There she also worked as a news anchor for several years. She then joined CTV News where she worked as a co-anchor of the evening and noon news. At the end of 2012, she announced her retirement from her broadcasting career.
