In 1981, Cris started his career in NFL where he was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals as a second-round pick. In 1985, he starts playing as a professional football player for Tampa Bay Bandits but due to his ankle problem, he couldn’t continue his Pro. Football career retired from the game. He has completed his NFL career with 417 receptions in 107 games.
After his retirement, he starts working as a host for WLW station and later joined HBO as a reporter. He is hosting WGN America and works as a commentator for Madden NFL 09, 10, 11, and NFL 12.
