In 2006, Kelly and Brunt first met on a blind date at a tapas bar and subsequently began their relationship when Brunt proposed to Kelly on the beach at Beach Haven, New Jersey, in September 2007. The couple dated each other for nearly a year until their marriage on 1st March 2008.
