Danny Bhoy is a Scotland-born comedian best known for his observational humor which involves his experiences most of the time. He is one of the most successful comedians in the industry and has performed in numerous countries including Canada, Sweden, UK and the United States. 

Bhoy was born on 16th January 1975 in Moffat, Scotland. He is one of his 4 siblings and attended Lockerbie Academy and Merchiston Castle School. The Indian-Scottish comedian started his career out as a stand-up comedy in the year 1998 when he was just 23-years old.

Danny Bhoy is of Indian Ethnicity

Despite being called a Scottish comedian, Danny is actually Indian-Scottish. His father is of Indian ethnicity and his mother is Scottish. His real name is also Danni Chaudhary. He later adapted the name Danny Bhoy as his stage name. His grandmother called him Danny Boy and since the family had registered the name he had to later add the "H' to his surname.

His debut as a comedian was a huge success

After starting stand-up comedy in 1998, his talent was instantly recognized. In just a year, Danny was awarded The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award. It is one of the biggest awards for new comedians in Britain. 

His solo show was houseful

 In the year 2001, he took his comedy skill at Edinburgh Festival for full-length solo shows. The show was supposed to last for 3 weeks but all the tickets were sold out within just a week. He was very high in demand and to fulfill it, the festival decided to add extra shows.

A majority of Danny's fans are women and they are extremely interested to know about his private life, affairs, relationships and preferences. However, Danny being a very private person, there are no details about the comedian's private life and love affairs.
