The news was first reported by OK! Magazine which revealed that Pattinson could barely hold her tears when her now-fiancé proposed her on one knee with a gorgeous 3.6-carat marquise-cut diamond ring.

People were not even over with the excitement of Pattinson's engagement, and her grandmother, Mavis Birdsey, announced that her granddaughter will exchange the vows with her fiancé on their wedding anniversary next year. 
Although Pattinson had given a slight hint about her wedding previously by saying that it would take place next summer hopefully, her nan stated that it will take place in July.

Pattinson's nan also disclosed that her other granddaughter Louise also got hitched a few days ago making her anniversary match with her grandparents. Mavis is overwhelmed to open up about Pattinson's similar plan. 
Mavis is the grand mom of four granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.

Recalling her married life with her husband, Mavis said: 

“I can’t believe we’ve been married for 65 years already. It’s[successful marriage] about give and take. There’s never been a boss between us. We always tend to agree on everything but if we don’t, we talk through it.

Pattinson's grandmother is more excited than us about her granddaughter's wedding. In an interview with The Sun, she revealed that her advice to Vicky would be not to squabble over the little silly things. Life is just too short.
