Thomas is a professional player of Boston Celtics for the NBA, before playing national and international, he played for his high school and college team as a point guard. He started his career, while he was in his high school; Curtis in University Place, Washington.
He attended Curtis Senior High School until 11th grade but transferred to South Kent School in South Kent, Connecticut, to redo his 11th grade due to academic problems. He then scored an average of 31.2 in his results. Later signed to the University of Washington.
As soon as Thomas went to college, he received blessings from the great Nate Robinson, a former Washington Huskies star, to use his number 2 basketball jersey. He used the jersey in an exhibition game against Western Washington, in that match Thomas scored 27 points.
