Jordan began his sports career from his early age as a youth player for his home-town club Middlesbrough, where Jeff Stelling has worked as a reporter. While he was playing for the Middlesbrough first team, in a 2012–13 FA Cup, he made his good performance and tied against Hastings United. After that, he was loaned to Hartlepool United, a professional association football club. Matthew Bates has also played for this club. After a year, he left the Middlesbrough at the end of 2015–16 season.
In the Same year, Jordan made a contract with Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock. After playing with the club, he made his international debut at the age of 17 and represented the Northern Ireland through his Northern Irish father. He has also played as a U21 player for the Northern Irish national team.
Later, Jordan joined the senior Northern Ireland squad for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Germany and Norway; however, he was unable to play in both games. He won his first cap for Northern Ireland in the second league in 2018 World Cup playoff qualifier.
Jordan is a British by nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. Currently, he is possibly single and wants to keep his personal matter related to his girlfriend and affair away from the media and web. He is yet to get married and doesn't have any child.
