Kyle Richards was born on January 11, 1969, in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, the United States of America, to father Kenneth Edwin Richards and mother Kathleen Mary Richards.
Both her father and mother are dead. Her dad passed away in 1998 while her mom died in 2002. The couple had split in 1972 after which Kathleen married two more times.
She has two siblings Kathy Hilton (her half-sisters from her mother's first marriage to Lawrence Avanzino) and Kim Richards.
She also has three paternal half-siblings from the first marriage of her father. All of whom were adults when she was born. She has two half-nieces Nicky Hilton and Paris Hilton.

Career
Kyle Richards started her acting career in 1974 by portraying Alicia Sanderson Edwards in 18 episodes of the NBC television series Little House on the Prairie.
Later in 1977, she and her sister Kim Richards played on-screen sisters in the thriller film The Car. Through the 1970s, the actress appeared in numerous television series and films, including the cult classic horror movie, Halloween (1978).
Kyle appeared in The Watcher in the Woods in 1980 and for a few following years, she did minor roles in film and TV shows including The Simple Life and My New BFF.
