Little Richard's early life
Little Richard, who is also popular by his nicknames The Real King of Rock 'n' Roll and The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, was born as Richard Wayne Penniman on 5th December 1932 in Macon, Georgia, the United States of America to Leva Mae and Charles "Bud" Penniman. He is an American by nationality and his ethnicity is African-American.

As Richard was small and skinny as a child, he was named "Lil' Richard" by his parents. A moron child who misbehaved with his neighbor, Richard grew up singing in church.
His parents were highly religious and he also enjoyed the worship and live music. At the end of 1947, when Sister Rosetta Tharpe was at her concerts at Macon City Auditorium she heard Little Richard singing two of her gospel recordings.
She was impressed by his voice and took him to sing onstage during the concert. Then he began singing in several shows.

Little Richard's personal life
While Richard was in his early 20s, he began dating Audrey Robinson. Audrey Robinson was a mid-teen college student at that time. After they called off their love life, Audrey Robinson became a stripper using the name Lee Angel.
At the end of 1957, Richard met his first wife Ernestine Campbell while he was at an evangelical rally. They fell in love with each other and they began their romantic love life.
After being in love for about two years, they decided to get married and they finally got married on the 11th of July 1959.
Though they were happily married and they also had a romantic sex life, this married was not meant forever. They got divorced in 1963. Ernestine revealed that she dissolved this married life because of his celebrity status.

Little Richard's career and net worth
Finally, in March 1957, he was finally able to release his debut album Here's Little Richard. It was entered at no 10 in the U.S. Pop charts. Besides his musical career, he has also appeared in several movies and TV shows.
In 1956, he appeared in the movie Don't Knock the Rock, starring Alan Dale and The Girl Can't Help It.
