Liz was interested in journalism since she was a child, she joined Boston University with the completion of her high school graduation. There she majored in journalism and history. She began her professional career with New England Cable News where she worked as an assignment editor. She also worked as a reporter at WPLG. A few years later, she joined ABC News and began working as a Chicago-based correspondent.
She also worked as a co-anchor of the show World News Now for about a year in 2002. She has been working at WABC-TV since 2003.
She has also co-anchored the weekday 4 and 6 PM editions of Eyewitness News.
