Like other celebrities, Marcia is not frank when it comes to her personal matters. She has not revealed anything about her love affairs, boyfriend, married life, and divorce yet. It seems like she is still single.
After completing her secondary education, Marcia joined the University of Western Ontario. There she majored in political science and she finally earned her Bachelor's degree four years later. She then joined Ryerson University but there she majored in journalism. She began her broadcasting career at MCTV in Sudbury, Ontario. There she worked as a reporter for several years and then she joined MCTV and CKWS. It is also reported that she worked at The Weather Network as a reporter for several years. At the end of 2005, she joined CTV News and began working as a news anchor of the weekday evening news.
