Sweet and lovely lady, Michelle Yeoh was born Yeoh Chu-Kheng in the early 1960s in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia to Janet Yeoh and Yeoh Kian Teik. Her parents were a lawyer and MCA politician. She has two siblings and they are named as Robert Yeoh and Lam Hoe Yeoh.

1966

Began studying ballet

As Michelle was interested in dancing at a young age, she began studying ballet at the age of four. During her mid teens, she moved to United Kingdom where she attended a boarding school. She also studied dance at the Royal Academy of Dance.

Won the Miss Malaysia beauty pageant
