How did Cindy Grossman and Herschel Walker meet?

Talking about Grossman and Walker’s meeting, it is said that they met while Walker was icing his ankle in a training room.

They must have dated for some duration before getting married. In their years of marital togetherness, they were blessed with a child, a son, whose name is Christian Walker.

Why did Cindy Grossman and Herschel Walker got divorced?

The reason behind this couple’s divorce is Herschel Walker’s Dissociative Identity Disease (DID). Walker tried to kill himself and his wife many times during their togetherness as a husband and wife.

The situation must have gotten worse than what we are imagining now which compelled Grossman to take such a huge decision. But, the sad thing here is that she only knew about her husband’s disease after their divorce, which was finalized in 2001.

Cindy Grossman recalls her bitter past

When they were together, life was not easy for Cindy Grossman. She recalls the memory remembering the different sides and voices of her husband. She recalled her past,

"It's hard to explain, but even his physical countenance would change. ... There was also a very sweet, lovable [personality]. That's the one he told me I married. He told me I didn't marry Herschel."

Other incidents that Cindy recalled,

“I was pregnant and it was probably 100 degrees out. Herschel was dressed in a full sweatsuit, tights, sweats, jacket, and he was running through the house. ... he said, 'Close the door. I am having bad thoughts. I am thinking I am going to hurt you.'"

She added,

“We were talking and the next thing I knew, he just kind of raged and he got a gun and put it to my temple.”

But Walker does not remember any of these incidents happening. This was due to the memory loss that came along with the DID. Grossman who didn’t know about Walker’s disease then says that she thought there was somebody there that was evil.

Is Cindy Grossman dating anyone now?

After Grossman and Walker's divorce, Grossman seems to be very reserved. She is not seen dating any other guy. Maybe, she still loves her former husband deeply.
