Mike Golic studied at St. Joseph High School. She later graduated from the University of the Notre Dame, majoring in finance and management. During his senior season, he served as the captain of the football team and also wrestled for the Irish.
Further, he was selected in the 10th round with the 255th overall pick in the 1985 NFL Draft, by Houston Oilers. After playing two years for Oilers, he was drafted by Philadelphia Eagles and then to Miami Dolphins.
He recorded 3 interceptions and 11.5 sacks in his career.
After he retired as a football player, Golic decided to pursue his TV career with a weekly segment on the “Randall Cunningham” show. He earned a Mid-Atlantic Region “Emmy Award” for his work in “Golic’s Got it”.
He has also hosted “Mike & Mike” along with Mike Greenberg on ESPN Radio and ESPN2. A few days later, he started a show, “Golic and Wingo” with Trey Wingo.

Currently, 55, Mike Golic is a married man. He is married to his longtime girlfriend Christine. Together with his beautiful wife, he has 3 children: Mike Jr, Jake, and Sydney. His son Mike Jr. and Jake is football player whereas his daughter Sydney was a swimmer for the Irish.
