Nikki Bella can't explain how she’s feeling right now. During an interview with Extra on Monday, May 14, the 34-year-old female wrestler became speechless when she was asked about John Cena's recent interview, where he explained that he wants to marry Nikki and have kids with her.
When the Total Bellas star was asked if she had watched the heart-wrenching interview he gave on the Today show, she responded, “Oh, my god, no”.
Nikki further added, “Wow, well, I’m speechless. Um, yeah, that’s crazy. Yeah.”
The pro wrestler then reflected on this season of the E! being the best one yet, before she elaboration on her broken engagement with the 41-year-old WWE champion.
She explained,
I didn’t think cold feet and all of that type of stuff existed, but it exists. I have hope and I’m just at a point in my life where I feel like I kind’ve lost me, and I want to find me and work on me.
She continued, "John and I both to live happily ever after, whether it’s together or separate".
Nikki the added that the day she says her vows she wants to “say them once and I want to fully mean them.”
That’s what made me hesitant, is ‘am I ready to say these vows?’
John didn't want to have children for years, but as previously reported, he now wants to make Nikki his wife and become the father of her kids.
When asked how he's doing after the split with Nikki John told the Today's show hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford,
It's up and it's down. It's been incredibly reflective, which is amazing, but it's very difficult. I had my heart broken out of nowhere…or for me it was out of nowhere. Anyone who has experienced that knows it comes with a series of bad feelings.
Later on, he went on to say,
I still love Nicole, I would love to marry Nicole, I still would love to have a family with Nicole. It was an unfortunate set of circumstances where our relationship ended.
He repeated over having a family with his ex-fiancee.
I love her. I want to be with her. I want to make her my wife. I want to be the father of her children. I just want us to work.
The former couple called off their engagement less than three weeks away from their awaited wedding.
They were together for more than six years when and the Ferdinand actor proposed his long-term girlfriend during Sunday's Wrestlemania 33 in April 2017.
