As per his childhood dream of becoming one of the famous journalists, Richard Gaisford attended Falmouth College and graduated in "Broadcast Journalism Diploma". Soon after the completion of his study, he pursued his career in the media field and appeared on the TV as the Relief News Presenter and Chie Correspondent for GMTV.
Later after Good Morning TV (GMTV) collapse, Richard joined daybreak as "Chief Correspondent" and in the year 2014, he continued, the same role into the show “Good Morning Britain”.
Additionally, he was chosen to travel with Kate Middleton and Prince William to Canada on their first Royal Tour. Throughout his journalism career, Gaisford reported the 2010 World Cup from South Africa and 2008 Olympics from Beijing for GMTV.
