Daytime Emmy Awards winner for Outstanding Entertainment News Program, Rob Marciano is a journalist and meteorologist from the United States. He has been serving at the ABC News since 2014 and he is popular for Good Morning America.
He was born as Robert Mark Marciano in Glenville, Greenwich, Connecticut, the United States of America. He is an American and is of Italian and German descent. The graduate of Cornell University in meteorology, Rob also holds the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval.
He has been active as a broadcast journalist soon after his graduation making his debut with KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1994 and later as a weather anchor for WVIT Connecticut News 30 till 1997.
In May 2003, he joined CNN and served as chief meteorologist for KATU-TV and 750 KXL News Radio in Portland, Oregon. Then after leaving CNN on December 21, 2012, he joined ABC News on July 19, 2014, as the senior meteorologist.
On September 6, 2014, Robb Marciano debuted on ABC's Good Morning America Weekend and is actively working for ABC along with Ginger Zee.
