Sally met love of her life David Clayton Rogers at Lesley Kahn's Acting Studio. They dated each other for about half a decade and announced their engagement at the end of 2010. They got married on 17th of September 2011. She gave birth to her first child in 2013.
Sally was enrolled at Spence School. As a child, she was exceptionally talented in ballet. She also joined Manhattan Ballet Company as its member. After the completion of her high school graduation, she joined Yale University and majored in theater studies. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts from there. While she was in Yale she also appeared in several productions like The Dining Room, Freedomland and Sylvia. She made her acting debut in 2003 by starring the role of Monica in the movie Swordswallowers and Thin Men. In 2006, she played the major role in the movie Last Rites of the Dead. She also appeared in the TV series, Shark playing the role of Deena Brock. She got her rise in fame after she began starring the role of Roxy LeBlanc in the TV series, Army Wives.
