A native of Greenwich, New York City, Steven Strait was born on 23rd of March 1986, to Jean and Richard Dyer Strait. His ancestry was half-Italian and half-English. Talking about his nationality, Strait is an American and is of the white ethnicity.
Strait always dreamed of pursuing his career in the entertainment industry and wanted to establish himself as an actor someday. As a student, he enrolled at the "Village Community School". Later he graduated from the "Xavier High School". Furthermore, he attended classes at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
