Famous for her voice-over in Big Mouth (2017- Present) and Muppet Babies (2018- Present), 38-year-old Jenny Slate aside from enjoying the blissful relationship with art curator fiancee Ben Shattuck, also enjoys motherhood.

In December 2020, the American actress & comedian came up with the news of pregnancy. While fans were all speculating for the hints on the due date, Slate answered all those questions in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on February 3, 2021, & confirmed that she was not pregnant anymore & already given birth to a baby girl.

Moreover, Jenny opened up to ET that by the time she announced her pregnancy, she was  “basically like four days away” from the delivery.

Well, on Wednesday night (February 3) on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Slate further opened about her pregnancy journey & confirmed that she welcomed daughter Ida Lupine, 6 weeks prior to that interview day. Answering Jimmy Kimmel, the actress told that their daughter's name was the result of 'digging into her heritage & a connection to a region of eastern Europe'.

Throughout the pregnancy, Jenny called her child Bagrat, actually spelled B-A-G-R-A-T. 

Her fiance Ben was there the whole time during her delivery; recalling those moments, she told:

"Ben was allowed in. We weren't sure how it was gonna go and we had our masks on and everything. And that's good because I was making a lot of faces that I might not want him to remember."

However, the duo is yet to share the picture of their daughter or has revealed the exact birth date. Since the 2020 fall, neither of them has made active Instagram usage, so probably it's worth a wait until they come up with the reveal or tabloid sources released the pictures after purchase.

When Did Jenny and Ben Begin Dating?

It was in January 2019 when Jenny Slate and Ben Shattuck sparked dating rumors after they were spotted cozying up at the Sundance Film Festival. Ben is an art curator who works at Dedee Shattuck Gallery in Westport, Massachusetts, owned by his mother.

After 8 months of their relationship, the actress, on August 8, 2019, confirmed her engagement with Shattuck via Instagram post.

According to her Insta post, Ben proposed to her during their vacation in France. Later, he also made an announcement that he 'asked her to marry in an abandoned castle in southern France.'

Jenny was in a 4-year marital relatioship with then-husband Dean Fleischer-Camp. Although their courtship details remained behind the curtains, they reportedly moved in together in the early 2010s; she previously lived in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.

On September 12, 2015, Slate and Fleischer-Camp married but separated in May 2016 & divorced the same year.
