Brian Hugh Warner, known by his name Marilyn Manson, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, composer, actor, painter, author, and former music journalist. Marilyn best know for his records Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals, released in the 1990s. The records earned him a reputation in mainstream media as a controversial figure, mostly among young people.
In addition to his popularity from his profession, Marilyn has caught media attention in regards to his personal life. The singer has a list of deserted relationships and has admitted that marriage isn't his cup of tea. Lately, he was in a relationship with American photographer Lindsay Usich.
Marilyn Manson's first known encounter was with actress Rose McGowan. Marilyn and Rose got engaged in February 1999.
However, the pair ended their relationship before they walked down the aisle. They ended their engagement in January 2011, citing lifestyle differences.
After the split with fiancee Rose, Marilyn began dating dance, model and costume designer Dita Von Teese in 2001. Following three years of their relationship as a boyfriend & girlfriend, Marilyn proposed his partner on March 22, 2004.
They got married in a private ceremony officiated by Chilean film director Alejandro Jodorowsky.
On December 30, 2006, Marilyn's wife filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. On the divorce papers, Dita also stated that she did not agree with his partying or his relationship with another girl. The divorced was finalized in December 2007.
In 2007, Marilyn was found dating actress, model, and musician Evan Rachel Wood. They maintained an on-and-off relationship for several years.
In January 2010, Marilyn proposed to Rachel on stage, during his Paris stage performance. However, just after a year, Marilyn and Rachel broke off their engagement.
With three unfruitful affairs on his back, Marilyn showed courage to move on. A year from his separation with fiancee Rachel, Marilyn was rumored to be in a relationship with American photographer Lindsay Usich. The rumors were fueled after Revolver magazine referred Lindsay as Manson's girlfriend in its article in March 2012.
The article referred Marilyn's painting featuring Lindsay. Lindsay was credited as the photo source for the cover art of Manson's 2012 album titled Born Villain. In February 2015, Manson told Beat magazine that he is currently single, stating himself as "newly single."
