Guns N' Roses! Probably, many of us are familiar with the American rock band and its lead singer Axl Rose. The 56-year-old American singer, songwriter, record producer, and musician, Axl Rose has garnered wide fame and earning with his vocal skills and incredible music knowledge.

Formation of Guns N' Roses

Born in Lafayette, Indiana, as William Bruce Rose Jr., Alx Rose' career journey took a boost after he formed a band Hollywood Rose in 1983 at the age of 21 with his childhood friend Izzy Stradlin. Soon after, the band was joined by the future Guns N' Roses band members guitarist Slash and drummer Steven Adler.

Later, following the band's dissolution, Axl Rose joined L.A. Guns in 1984 and a year later, Axl formed Guns N' Roses merging the two bands in 1985.

Axl's Rose Album Earnings: Million Dollars Worth Journey

In 1987, Axl Rose along with Guns N' Roses released their first album, Appetite for Destruction which is one of the best-selling debut albums of all time in the U.S. with 18 million units sold.

As reported, the album Appetite for Destruction has sold over 30 million copies worldwide and made estimated earnings of $30 million. Their 1988 album G N' R Lies made the total of $11 million.

Axl Rose' vocal in the Guns N' Roses' Sweet Child o' Mine from Appetite for Destruction and November Rain from Use Your Illusion I; twin album of Use Your Illusion II strengthened the band.

In 1991, after the band released Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II debuted at number two and number one on the Billboard 200 and earned approximately $19 million and $20 million respectively. 

The twin albums have sold a combined 35 million copies worldwide, including 14 million units in the United States.

Axl Rose's band Gun N' Roses earned $5 million from the album The Spaghetti Incident? in 1993 and $1 million from the compilation album Use Your Illusion in 1998. In 1999, the live album Live Era '87–'9 earned them $800,000.

Though, the earning details of Axl Rose from his million dollars sales are not disclosed. As reported, their album Chinese Democracy (2008) is the most expensive rock album in history with a production cost of $14 million while making the revenue of $6.5 million in that year.

Axl Rose's Net Worth: House and Cars

Also, the lead singer of the Australian rock band AC/DC since 2016, Axl Rose was joined by Slash and McKagan in 2016 for the Guns N' Roses Not in This Lifetime... Tour, which grossed over $480 million by December 2017.

As of November 2018, Axl Rose is estimated to be enjoying the net worth of $150 million including his house, and car collection.

Reportedly, Rose owns a house in Malibu, Californa, which is estimated to be worth of million dollars, though the purchase and other details are yet to be disclosed.

Axl Rose's car collection includes a Porsche 911 GT3, Custom Porsche 918, Range Rover, Bentley, and many others. However, the property empire details are in the shadows as for now.

Axl Rose's Controversy and Fines

In July 1991, at a concert of  Riverport Amphitheater near St. Louis, Axl Rose confiscated a fan's video camera but was pulled back on stage which led the departure of Axl from the concert leaving a riot. The damages were estimated to be of $200,000.

In 1992, another riot occurred at Montreal's Olympic Stadium when Rose complained of voice problems before walking off stage. The riot resulted in $400,000 damages and he was fined $50,000 and received two years' probation.

Against a lawsuit contending by Steven Adler in 1993 for his illegitimate firing, Rose was ruled out and agreed on an out-of-court settlement of $2.5 million and 15% of the royalties for everything Adler recorded prior to his departure.

In November 2010, Rose sued Activision, the producers of the video game Guitar Hero, for $20 million, claiming a violation of the agreement which read not to include Slash or his band Velvet Revolver in the game in return for a license to use the song Welcome to the Jungle.

However, without any proof, the lawsuit was voided.
