Britt McHenry’s full name is Brittany May McHenry. She was born on May 28, 1986, in New Jersey. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism with a Master’s degree in Journalism. At present, she works as a sports reporter for ESPN in Washington DC. However, she began her career by working on WJLA-TV as a sports reporter and fill-in anchor. She also worked as a sideline reporter at Fox Sports in San Diego. Later, she quit there and returned to WJ:A-TV in 2012. Besides, she also worked in NewsChannel 8. She left ABC in March 2014 in order to join ESPN.
On 16th April 2015, McHenry got suspended by ESPN. The reason behind it was that McHenry got herself involved in a verbal abuse controversy. However, it got solved later.
