Chris Paul was born on May 6, 1985, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the father, Charles Paul, and mother, Robin Paul. His birth name was as Christopher Emmanuel Paul; he grew up in his birthplace along with his siblings. During his early age, he was in youth leagues before he began his senior career.
Paul joined West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, where he played for junior teams in his freshman and sophomore years. During his professional career, he made 25 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.4 steals. After completing his high school, he joined Wake Forest University in 2003.

Later Paul was traded to Los Angeles Clippers on December 12, 2011. He finished the first season with the Clippers with average 19.8 points, 9.1 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. In 2013, Paul made a contract with clippers and a $107 million deal. He helped his team Los Angeles Clippers to achieve a record of 57 wins in that season.
