Tomlin and Bricken met through one of their mutual friends after Chris moved to Atlanta. They dated for a while but Bricken wasn’t sure of her relationship.

During an interview, Lauren said:

I was trying to navigate the relationship, and figure out what was going on. So, along with that line, I said, 'I really want to know who you are, but if that doesn’t change in time, I’m probably going to move on.' And nothing changed, so I moved on. A year later, we reconnected by divine circumstances. From there, it was a quick sprint to the altar!

Tomlin also revealed that he realized Bricken’s value after they broke up as per his statement:

After the course of several months, after losing Lauren, I thought, Wow, she was special. And I’m not sure if I know another girl quite like her.” And so, I tried everything I could to get her back, and she was having none of it. She was as cold as ice! She was like, “I’m over you! You can move on because I’ve moved on.

Later after reconciliation, the love affair of Tomlin and Bricken turned into a serious relationship and they got married.

The couple tied the knot on November 9, 2010, in a private ceremony in front of close friends and family members. Many of their well-wishers even wished them on their wedding.

Almost a year post their marriage, Bricken gave birth to Tomlin’s first child. Tomlin had announced his wife’s pregnancy in May 2011 and on 22nd September 2011, he became the father of an angelic baby girl whose name is Ashlyn Alexandra Tomlin.
