‘Save the Last Dance’ actress Julia Stiles is all ready to accept a huge role in 2017. We’re not really talking about movies here, it’s something that’ll change her life forever. You might want to guess what that is for a while, but we can’t wait to reveal that the 36-year-old star is pregnant with her first child.

Stiles and her fiancé Preston J. Cook are expecting their first child together as confirmed by People. The pair got engaged back on Christmas Eve in 2015 but are in no rush to exchange vows. Stiles's husband Cook is a camera assistant who has worked in successful movies including Leonardo DiCaprio‘s ‘The Revenant’ and 2014’s Big Eyes. Stiles met him in 2014 on the set of ‘Blackway’.

They dated for a while and fell in love eventually. They got engaged on Christmas Eve of the same year. Cook popped the big question while the couple was on vacation in Isla Grande, Colombia.

Stiles took to Instagram to reveal her engagement news by posting a photo showing off her ring. Later Stiles revealed a little information about her vacation saying that it was a really wonderful trip.

She said:

 "We stayed on an island that was really beautiful and there was a lot of great snorkeling. The city was really nice, too, but because I live in the city the natural scenery was really great."

Despite being engaged since the end of 2015, Stiles and Cook haven’t tied the knot yet. It seems like the pair is in no rush to get married. In fact, Stiles admitted herself that the pair are enjoying their ‘being engaged’ phase.

She revealed that the amazing couple is steady in their wedding planning. Thus, Stiles doesn’t really enjoy marital advice.

Considering the fact that Stiles and her partner Cook will be a parent soon, we’re pretty sure that she’ll enjoy parenting advice. However, the couple hasn’t revealed the baby’s due date or its gender.

Julia and Cook got married in 2017 shortly after announcing their pregnancy. The couple exchanged vows in a very intimate ceremony and was revealed to the fans via Instagram.

Soon on October 20, 2017, she became a mother of a son. They named him Strummer Newcomb Cook and as of 2020, the family of three seems happy than ever.
