Before Blucas decided to become an actor, he tried for the NBA but unfortunately, he didn’t make it. Then he decided to become a lawyer but changed his mind and became an actor instead, which we all know now. He began as a professional actor in 1995 and made his debut in the television movie Inflammable. Because he played basketball he landed a role in Gary Ross’s Pleasantville where he starred as a basketball hero.

However, Blucas’ first major role was in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1999 and from then his career in acting just bloomed. He got roles in movies like Summer Catch and We Were Soldiers. In 2007 he landed the lead role in Thr3e and The Killing Floor.
