The regular face of Channel 7’s newsroom found the one when she had least expected it. She agreed to begin the beautiful journey of marriage with her partner Richard Moore. The pair got engaged in 2016.

When McGrath revealed the big news about her engagement, she opened up saying that she hadn’t seen it in the tea leaves as she never expected to tie the knot again. She further said:

“I have found my soulmate – it is that old saying that love can land when you least ­expect it.”

McGrath’s fiance is a very successful businessman. The pair had been dating since 2013.

McGrath’s marriage with Moore will not be her first as she was previously married to a man whose identity is not really known. She has two sons, Nick and Joey, from her first marriage. She has never mentioned about her first husband and the reason behind their divorce.

You might be amazed to know that McGrath’s fiance Moore actually asked permission of her two sons before proposing her. She admitted herself that her sons get along Moore really well.

Although McGrath and Moore’s professional field is different, they have a lot of things in common. In an interview, she talked about her compatibility with her beau as she said:

“We are broadening each others’ horizons. It is a lovely partnership. I have been keen to learn more about the business world, although I don’t share too much about what goes on behind the scenes in my world, I don’t want to frighten him too much.”

Besides, the pair has a mutual passion for traveling. In fact, they have already traveled a lot of places together. They both love beach getaway and being by the water. Even though they support different teams, their love for AFL is on the same level.
