Bernsen then made a move to the films, starring with Bruce Payne in films like Kounterfeit and Aurora: Operation Intercept.
He also played the role of Dr. Alan Feinstone in the horror movie The Dentist, and also its sequel. He was then also cast as prima donna third baseman Roger Dorn in the sports comedy Major League and appeared for both its sequels.
