Sue Bird lesbian rumors could be false as there are talks about she dating. Who is her boyfriend?

Making a name for herself from the very start of her career in the professional basketball team based in Seattle, Washington, Seattle Storm, Sue Bird has been one of the most talked-about WNBA players over the years.

Born on October 16, 1980, as Suzanne Brigit Bird, this New York hottie has been making headlines for both her personal and professional lives.

WNBA players have long been famed for their passion for the game. However, it is not the only thing they are famous for. WNBA seems to have adopted a marketing strategy targeting their large base of LGBTQ fans. Since most of the top WNBA players have openly accepted their “unconventional” sexuality, it was only a matter of time before the whole association sought out to encourage that particular community.

But unlike many of her counterparts, 35-year-old Bird has not opened up about her sexuality. And being the private person that she is, we don’t know anything about her personal affair.

Back in December 2015, she had re-posted a dirty insinuation towards the players of WNBA. Though it was not clearly written, we can assume that it was out of hatred towards such actions that Sue had shared that instant with her fans.

In 2002, when she first rose to fame, there were heavy talks that Sue Bird was dating one of the Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter. The wildfire had spread after Sue and Carter were seen together in the EPSY award function.

Later, Sue had come forth to clarify that Carter was not her boyfriend. The reason why they were together in the award function was actually a publicity stunt arranged by their mutual agent. Well, that was quite a successful stunt they pulled off.

As of now, we can only make guesses. Is Sue a lesbian? Is she married? If so, does she have a husband or a wife for that matter? We will need the WNBA star herself to comment on that because we can find nothing through her online sharings and interviews.

Other things remaining irrelevant, her performance in the playoffs of her team has been admirable. She is credited for bringing Seattle Storm up from the ashes since her entry in 2002. Her team, founded in 2000, made the playoffs for the first time in 2002 with Bird's playmaking ability. Even though the team was swept by the Los Angeles Sparks her performance was much appreciated.

Sue was selected as a starter on the 2002 WNBA Western Conference All-Star team. She was the runner-up for the Rookie of the Year award. She was one of only two rookies to make the All-WNBA First Team.
