Excited To Be A Mother For Fourth Time- Gender Of Baby?

After 2 years of birth to the third child, daughter Layne, Houska seemed excited to expand her family as she revealed about her pregnancy with her fourth child via Instagram in late 2020. 

On August 5, 2020, the Vermillion, South Dakota native took to Instagram to share a snap that consisted of names of her husband & 3 kids written in wood along with the word 'baby', clearing stating she was expecting. The caption read "One more DeBoer! Coming early 2021."

The news comes after a couple of years, when Chelsea, in 2018, revealed that she suffered from mastitis after being the mother for the third time.

Chelsea Houska, on August 6, shared the first glimpse of her baby bump on her Instagram (@chelseahouska), where she was over 6.1 million followers.

Later, on August 8, 2020, the reality star revealed the gender of her fourth child as the family posted a photo showered with pink confetti and wrote "Baby.......GIRL!!!!!!"

Despite the fact that Chelsea is going to welcome her fourth baby, it will be a 3rd child together with her husband Cole DeBoer. The duo already welcomed son Watson and daughter Layne together, while their eldest daughter Aubree is from Houska's previous relationship with then-boyfriend Adam Lind.

Left 'Teen Mom 2' After 10 Seasons

One of the original casts of Teen Mom 2 ever since it premiered in 2011, Chelsea Houska, in the midst of 4th pregnancy, made an exit from the program after spending a whole 10 seasons.

Even though she already had shared an IG post on November 10 stating she would leave the MTV crew, the mother of 3 didn't open up much then.

During the Season 10 finale of Teen Mom 2 on December 29, 2020, Houska revealed the reason for her exit as she wanted to give her daughter Aubree, 11, some privacy as she was heading into her teens.

Chelsea who was leaving the reality series in full support of her husband told:

"I feel like a lot of the show has always revolved around her personal life the most, and as she’s getting older, in her teen years, I just feel like that’s not something that needs to necessarily be out there for everyone to have their opinion on."

Moreover, she admitted that it was a difficult decision for her as it was also a farewell to the TV production crew, who almost were like family members during these years.

Married Life With Husband Cole DeBoer- Wedding Date and Children

In late 2014, Chelsea met traffic control specialist Cole DeBoer and began dating soon after; introduced him on Season 6 premiere (July 9, 2015) of Teen Mom 2. With their progressing relationship, the duo decided to move in together shortly after.

After a year of their engagement on November 17, 2015, Chelsea and Cole married on October 1, 2016. They shared an adorable picture of their wedding on Instagram but kept the details under wraps.

Already mother to Aubree (born in 2009), Houska welcomed her second child & first with boyfriend-turned-husband DeBoer, a son named Watson Cole DeBoer on January 25, 2017. Later, they became parents to daughter Layne Ettie DeBoer on August 29, 2018- it was the 27th birthday of Chelsea.

Currently, the family of 5 lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Shares A Daughter With Ex-Boyfriend and Custody Battle

While attending high school in Vermillion, South Dakota, Chelsea Houska became pregnant by her then-boyfriend Adam Lind. In 2009 with 5 weeks of early labor, she welcomed her daughter, Aubree Sky Lind.

Thanks to her strong family support, especially her father Randy, Chelsea was able to join an online school and earn her GED degree. Subsequently, she went to beauty school & then got a part-time job in a salon.

Having appeared in the reality series, 16 and Pregnant, Houska became one of the original cast of the American reality series Teen Mom 2 alongside Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer- it premiered on January 11, 2011, on MTV.

The series showcased the daily life and the tumultuous relationship between Chelsea and Adam. During Season 6, Houska was in a custody battle for Aubree with Adam- while her (now) ex-boyfriend wanted joint custody, she demanded custody arrangement to herself.

Later, in March 2015, the court ruled in her favor. Moreover, Chelsea introduced her new boyfriend Cole (future husband) in the series in Season 6. 

As a result, by 2017, Adam disappeared from the series.
