Tom Hanks Shared a Bizarre Story About His Wife, George W. Bush, Throwing a Dead Bird

Tom Hanks, most of us might be familiar with the work of this brilliant actor or at least everyone should have heard the name. If you are not then all you should know about him is that he is a magnificent actor with a great personality.

He is also an ultimate wedding crasher and also a staunch twitter enthusiast.

Today we are here to talk about something that Tom shared with Phoebe Robinson on WNYC podcast “Soo Many White Guys”.

The story is about Ex-President George Bush, Tom Hanks, his wife Rita Wilson, their two sons and a dead bird. Yes, you heard us right, a dead bird of which you will know about later. As for the clue, the dead bird is the star of Mr. Hank’s memory.

It seems like Tom has a funny story for us and I am sure you will not get bored.

Tom Hanks visit to White House

Tom Hanks recalled his memory from the past back in 2004 when George W. Bush was the President of the United States, you might remember.

During that time the Hanks family were in Washinton DC to visit the White House for the dedication of the WWII Memorial.

And according to Hanks, they were wandering the White House and his wife went towards the restroom. Tom mentioned that he heard his wife Rita talking to the former President George Bush in the hallway, he was on the way towards the gym as he was in his workout clothes.

Then Mr. Bush offered them to give the Hanks pack a private walk through the Oval Office.

While they were walking towards the Rose Garden, leave this; let’s hear the word of the witness, Mr. Tom Hanks. He explained

“We’re walking toward the Rose Garden to go into the Oval Office, but I swear to God, there was a dead black bird lying in the grass. And he said, ‘ah, oh, that’s a shame,’ and he picks up the bird with his bare hands, and says, ‘yeah, we get these all the time in the ranch!’ and threw the black bird into the bushes to get it out of sight and goes, ‘ah, the crew’ll pick that up.”

Now you might be aware of the role of the dead bird. And according to Tom, it was one of his favorite memory in the White House. Why wouldn’t it be, as it involved the ex-President and the dead bird too, just being funny.
