Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Baltierra Split & Living Separately, What is the Reason? Their Marriage & Children

Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Baltierra rose to fame when they started being captured on MTV cameras for season 1 of Teen Mom in 2009, a few months before they welcomed their first daughter, Carly, together. 

Despite facing numerous turmoils in their relationship, they've always managed to come out stronger at the end of the day. That is the exact reason why fans were shocked when the pair revealed that they were expecting a girl and would be living apart for a month. Let's find out more about it.

From middle school sweethearts to reality TV stars, they've faced a lot of hurdles in their relationship and came out stronger each time.

The couple was filmed facing a rocky moment when 26-year-old Tyler Baltierra admitted to his pregnant wife that he wasn't 'happy' in their marriage. 

Catelynn recently returned from battling mental health issues in a rehabilitation facility, leaving their three-year-old daughter Novalee under her father's care.

Although the announcement of them living separately may not appeal in the current situation, the couple is actually using it as an exercise to help better cope with their recent marital troubles.

On Monday, November 25, the idea was first suggested by Tyler who proposed the idea of living apart for a month following a couple's therapy retreat they attended in Sedona. Catelynn was eventually receptive to the news, but she feared that Tyler had an ulterior motive for his suggestion.

Even though they've agreed to spend time apart, Catelynn clarified that they have not discussed getting a divorce and won't be seeing other people during their time apart.

In 2005 Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell fell in love and started dating when they were in middle school. In 2008, Catelynn became pregnant at the age of 16. MTV show "Teen Mom" premiered in 2009. The pair got engaged in 2010. 

 

Every relationship goes through ups and down and similarly, Tyler and Catelynn started facing troubles in their relationship and briefly broke up in August of 2010 but quickly recovered and reconciled.

In 2013, all the problems got the best of them and they called off their wedding.

 

In December 2014, Tyler proposed Catelynn again with a new engagement ring, and in 2015, they co-wrote and published a book together. They welcomed their daughter, Novalee on New Year's Day and tied the knots in the year 2015.

 

In July 2017, Tyler and Catelynn launched a children's clothing line called Tierra Reign. During the fall of 2017, Catelynn suffered a miscarriage.

They started facing various problems in their relationship and divorce rumors started circulating in the summer of 2018. Amidst all the rumors, the couple revealed that they are expecting their third child together in November 2018. 

Shortly after announcing the news about the pregnancy, Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Baltierra decided to live apart for a month to work on their issues. 

Hope their decision to live separately proves to be a success, and they reconcile like always.
