Why did Flip Flop TV Show couple Tarek & Christina El Moussa end their 7 year marriage?

HGTV’s ‘Flip or Flop’ show host Tarek El Moussa is married to Christina El Moussa, the co-host of the same show. Despite being married for seven years, Moussa couples are no more together. Yes, you read it right.  Tarek and Christina have decided to split but their divorce hasn’t been finalized yet. Despite the fact that the couple looked perfect together, some things went wrong between them. Let’s have a look at their amazing married life and what went wrong between them.

Tarek and Christina got married in 2009 after dating for some time. They first met each other when Christina has just finished her college and joined the real estate business.

The lovely-looking pair has two adorable children together. Their angelic daughter’s name is Taylor. Their second child was born in August 2016 who is a baby boy is named Brayden. They lived together in Yorba Linda, California. When Christina became pregnant for the second time, she was really excited. She shared that her daughter was equally excited too. During an interview, she said: “She really wanted a sibling. So we kept telling her, 'Mom is really trying to make a baby.'”

This pair appeared to be family goals as Tarek was also really happy with his family life. He loved his kids dearly. During an interview, he shared: "It's exciting to have a son and a daughter. The second he gets old enough, I'm going to step back from work and focus on raising them."

Everyone was shocked when the Moussa couple revealed that they are going their separate ways. During a statement to People’s magazine, the pair said: "Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed."

However, their decision of separation will not affect their professional life. HGTV appears to be supportive towards Christina and Tarek’s decision. The channel left a statement to CNN which said: admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina's great work on 'Flip or Flop. When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children," the HGTV statement said. "HGTV is currently airing episodes of 'Flip or Flop' and the series will continue production as scheduled."
