Year by year, Kenny was bombarded with opportunities. A year later after the audition with Tomlinson, he signed a deal with Capricorn Records, which had recently started a country division.

With them, he released his first album titled In My Wildest Dreams, which consisted of singles Whatever It Takes and The Tin Man

Chesney's Mainstream Career

In the consecutive years, he released several albums through BNA records which included All I Need to Know, Me and You, I Will Stand, Everywhere We Go, All I Want for Christmas is a Real Good Tan, and When the Sun Goes Down.

He also released Be As You Are and The Road and the Radio through BNA.

Throughout his career, Kenny has collaborated with artists like Jimmy Buffett, Clint Black, Alan Jackson, and Toby Keith. In the late 2000s and early 2010s, he released Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates, Lucky Old Son, Hemingway's Whiskey, Welcome to the Fishbowl, and Life on A Rock.
